Who is she?

A host. A producer. A writer. A creative. A designer.

Lauryn Bass is an emerging multimedia journalist who prides herself on becoming a part of the field’s best storytellers. Lauryn believes that we all have something to share and from her skills in extemporaneous speaking, and genuine charisma, Lauryn is able to get some of the most unique interviews from anyone she comes in contact with. One of her biggest accomplishments would be the inside scoop on her podcast “Sugar-Honey-Iced-Tea with Laurie Bee” featuring Kalena Bovell, who as of 2020 is the first and only Afro-Latina conductor in the United States.

Her interests range further than in front of the screen or behind the mic. In her free time, Lauryn enjoys singing, painting, taking photos of skylines, and traveling with her friends! Aside from hard news, she shares advice and creative pieces centered around Health & Wellness as a Lifestyle author for the Black-owned magazine, 247 Live Culture. She has a knack for graphic design and editing, which she showcases on her personal YouTube channel.

Lauryn has worked with media industry names such as Disney, ABC News, The E.W Scripps Company, Clairol, and more! Lauryn has a passion for uplifting anyone around her and strives to use her platform for those who may not have the opportunity or representation.
